The aspect of this instrument that makes it a "starter" cello is the competitive price. Most cellos at or even above this price are made out of plywood! This cello is hand made from select spruce and maple, has an ebony fingerboard and pegs, and a beautiful hand rubbed oil varnish. It plays, looks and sounds like an advanced cello because it is! It is setup in our shop with a quality carbon tailpiece with 4 fine tuners, Larsen or Jargar strings and a good quality bridge. Each instrument is fully play tested and adjusted before shipping.

The outfit includes carbon composite bow and quality padded bag.

Options are available to upgrade to a hard case.
